Another long journey south for the
Rochdale Supporters Team just a few weeks after they had
triumphed 8-1 at Wycombe Wanderers. They hoped to retain
their place at the top of the IFA League with another
win in the first ever meeting between these two clubs.
A game played in high winds did
indeed see Rochdale come out on top as comfortable
winners once again and like the Wycombe game Liam
Ratcliffe left the pitch having scored another 4 goals
to take him within touching distance of the IFA leagues
top scorer Nev Hardman, of local rivals Bury.
Paul Veevers also got on the
scoresheet for the second game running and Ryan
Higginbotham, not in goal this time round, also notched
his 9th league goal of the season to help Rochdale keep
their place as proud leaders of the IFA league.
It was a good day all round as
Rochdale AFC also managed a superb 1-0 victory in their
first visit to Stadium:MK despite playing 75 minutes of
the game with 10 men.
